BEND 2030: A vision for our future – a plan to get there.
Created by some 7,000 residents and endorsed by the Bend City Council, the Bend 2030 Vision has been implemented through the efforts of 63 partner organizations. Since 2006, over 90% of the action items are underway or complete.
On May 24th, Bend 2030 kicks off our ‘Accelerate Bend’ process. Join us for an update on the Vision, highlighting big wins and showcasing two vision ‘Accelerator Projects’ we think are pretty exciting.
We’ll ask you “What’s your vision for Bend?”, and start a conversation that will continue through six workshops focusing on key vision themes, culminating with a celebration this September. The outcome: a re-engaged public, a focused direction for the future, and implementation of citizen-generated new ‘Accelerator Projects’.
BEND 2030 VISION FOCUS AREA WORKSHOPS: (schedules to be announced soon)
- A Well-Planned City
- A Vibrant Economy
- A Quality Environment
- Safe, Healthy People
- A Strong Community
- A Creative, Learning Culture
